Counsellor : Facilitator : Wilderness Rites of Passage guide Master of Counselling, University of Canterbury New Zealand Association of Counselling (NZAC) student member.
My place of belonging is Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand. I’m a first generation kiwi with ancestry from South Africa, Zimbabwe, England, and Ireland. This intergenerational process of re-belonging lives within my skin and in my mahi (work). I value honesty, wholeness, and equity. I celebrate people in all their uniqueness regardless of their culture, their gender, age, sexuality and work. We all have strengths and a gift to offer the world. My calling is to guide people into a deeper relationship with the world as a way to break intergenerational patterns of separation and violence.
Outside of work I can be found outdoors (paragliding, surfing, climbing), moving my body (dance, yoga, cycling) and expressing myself (photography, poetry, writing).
