Born and raised in Christchurch, I am proudly of Samoan, Bulgarian, and Scottish ancestry. I bring professional experience and lived experience to my role, working within a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that supports men to improve their wellbeing, take responsibility for change, and build healthier lives and relationships.
I have a background in mental health and addiction support, community work, and the family violence sector, including facilitating anger management and domestic violence programmes, healing wānanga for men, and youth group facilitation.
As a male survivor of sexual abuse, I am passionate about supporting men to understand that the trauma they have experienced is not theirs to carry, while empowering them to take responsibility for their healing. I support men through individual and group work at the Canterbury Men’s Centre, walking alongside them toward accountability, recovery, and lasting change.
